QUALITY
COLLABORATIVES

AHHA members focus on statewide improvement, working together to share expertise, best practices and learn from each other with the goal of reducing patient harm. AHHA believes hospitals and nursing homes are stronger together and we seek to bring our members together all year to network, learn and unite.

The Alaska Perinatal Quality Collaborative promotes high-quality maternal and newborn care across Alaska.  The State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Public Health, Section of Women’s, Children’s and Family Health (WCFH) is the administrative partner to the AKPQC.

AHHA, in partnership with the State of Alaska Flex Team, has launched the Alaska Flex Readmission Collaborative with a goal of reducing readmissions in Alaska hospitals. Participating hospitals may log in to the AKFlexR2 password protected page to share information, ask questions, and celebrate successes.

The Alaska Antimicrobial Stewardship Collaborative is an active partnership of acute care and long-term care hospitals dedicated to developing innovative strategies to ensure appropriate antibiotic use.
