The Medical Executive Committee Institute equips new physician leaders for the responsibilities of medical staff governance and helps current leaders stay ahead of evolving issues and proven leadership practices. Participants gain practical guidance on Greeley methodologies, easy-to-use frameworks—the Pyramid, C&P Principles, Peer Review strategies, and a four-step physician management approach. Built by CMOs for the next generation of leaders and led by engaging, experienced physician leadership educators, this program reinvigorates leaders and strengthens their commitment to these essential roles.
FEATURED SPEAKER
Patrice Burgess, MD is a family medicine physician in practice for over 30 years. She recently served as the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of Health Informatics for Saint Alphonsus Health System (SAHS) in Idaho and Oregon and has held multiple other leadership roles in that organization. Saint Alphonsus Health System is a member of Trinity Health. During the Coronavirus pandemic, Dr. Burgess has served as the leader of the Medical Staff group of SAHS Incident Command structure and the Lab Testing Group. She was also a member of the Governor's Task Force on Coronavirus Testing and chaired the Governor’s Coronavirus Vaccine Advisory Committee.
