This training is offered three times a year and each training has openings for 10 nurses. Periop 101 ™ is an AORN education product utilized by Providence St. Joseph Health Clinical Academy to deliver a hybrid educational experience for the novice perioperative registered nurse in Alaska. The first 4 weeks are face-to-face didactic, laboratory and simulation experiences in the PAMC state-of-the-art Perioperative Simulation Lab. Hiring is the responsibility of the home facility and all local facility HR rules apply to that process.
