About the Event

The 24th Annual MAD-ID Meeting, The Antimicrobial Stewardship Meeting® will take place May 18-21,2022 at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Florida. Once again, the live portion of the highly popular MAD-ID Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship Training Program (AASP) will be delivered along with other contemporary content regarding infectious diseases prevention and treatment.

Pharmacists, physicians, nurses and other providers will be given the opportunity to participate – and earn continuing education credit – at a three-and-a-half-day educational symposium specifically designed to apply recent research to patient care and antimicrobial stewardship.

“Early Bird” discount registration is still available; register now!

New to this year’s meeting, MAD-ID will host a Trainee Focus Session, with the following activities:

  • A panel discussion On to Better Things: Navigating Advanced ID Training and Positions Available, hosted by MAD-ID Board Member, Susan Davis, featuring new practitioners discussing early career transitions.
  • A trainee-only Oral Abstract Session, to highlight original research projects. Up to 6 original research abstracts submitted by residents, students, or fellows will be invited to deliver brief oral presentations to an audience of their peers. Trainees can submit their abstracts here.

As in previous years, discounted registration fees will be offered for students and trainees, stewardship program partners from the same institution, and this year, to ID resident-residency director pairs.

Please visit MAD-ID's website (www.mad-id.org) for more information including the complete agenda, speakers and accreditation.
