Training Description:

The PAC Teepa Snow Training aims to teach Dementia Care to adult learners with a different approach than many traditional programs. This is a train-the-trainer course so there are many post-training resources for you to share with your facility to maintain the PAC Trainer Certification.

PAC Trainers combine knowledge with people’s personal observations as an avenue to explore and learn more about dementia. Engaging learners through their lived experiences helps them retain lessons learned and apply them in their daily tasks.

Learning Outcomes:

· Gain the knowledge of practical care methods that work

· Deliver content that matters about dementia

· Show, rather than tell, your learners the PAC Skills through hands-on practice

· Motivate your learners to speak up, share, and try

· Help others see the perspective of those living with dementia

· Practice delivering learning cycles for each objective to enhance content you teach

· Offer CEs for your workshops

· Gain over six hours of scripted content to train your network

Certification Requirements:

· Champion Courses 1-4 live online (2 hours each, 8 hours total to learn the knowledge and skills you’ll be teaching after becoming Certified!)

· Recorded pre-course work (estimated 7 hours to complete)

· Two days of live certification course (6 hours per day, 12 hours total)

· Follow up mentoring (3-4 video calls at 1 hour each, up to 4 hours total; not including prep time).

Teepa will be present for part of the live course, depending on her availability.

To register for the Trainer Certification Course click the registration button above. Once your registration is confirmed, you will then need to register for your Champion Courses (link to do so will be in your Certification confirmation email).

You can access your pre-course work by visiting the Certifications Hub under ‘My Account’ on TeepaSnow.com once your registration is complete.
