Registration:
Complete one registration for as many seats as you would like for physicians and other clinical leaders or medical staff from your facility, along with the contact who will be the lead for registration at your facility. We will send an invoice to the lead contact's email and to collect registration details for each attendee.

About the Instructor: Susan Lapenta is a partner at Horty, Springer & Mattern, P.C. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She serves as an Editor of Health Law Express, a weekly newsletter covering the latest health law developments, and is a faculty member for HortySpringer’s Credentialing for Excellence seminar.
Ms. Lapenta has extensive experience advising hospitals and medical staff on peer review investigations, hearings, and the development of governance documents, including bylaws and related policies. She has also guided health systems in revising medical staff documents to promote consistency, uniformity, and alignment with best practices.
In addition, she has represented clients in litigation arising from credentialing decisions. Beyond her work at HortySpringer, Ms. Lapenta has served on the faculties of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association for Physician Leadership. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was Managing Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. Following law school, she clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Glenn E. Mencer.
