About the Event

In 2023, AHHA conducted a member survey on specialty nurse training needs. In response to collected feedback, we have curated a pilot year of programming serving nurses in critical access and small, rural hospitals, especially newly graduated nurses or nurses who are new to the rural setting.

AHHA’s workforce development contract funds allow us to offer these trainings at no cost to our members. During the registration process, nurses will need to provide verification of approval to take the course from their supervisor or facility nurse leader.

Courses:

  • Emergency Nurses Association: Clinical Practice Novice Pathway
  • Novice to Expert: Clinical Thinking & Reasoning
  • Lecturio Nursing: Professional Development for Hospitals

Trainees can expect their course registration login information to be delivered to their email 2-4 weeks after registration completion. This may be longer for the NovEx course as the preceptor is required to attend two 1-hour orientation sessions before trainees will be granted access to the course.
